Description
The Team Leader position consists of two components: Clinical and Managerial. Clinical involves evaluating patient condition; establish treatment goals and works in collaboration with treatment team. Managerial determines staff assignments, participates with development and implementation of marketing plan for their department, participates in annual employee reviews, orientation and education of new staff and participating in the budget process.
The Pain Center staff work together as an interdiscplinary team of physical and occupational therapist, psychologists, nursing and a physician all in one office. The goal is the functional rehabilitation of patients with headaches and pain. We take a time limited, programmic approach so that measurable gains are seem within a few weeks. Experience with chronic pain population and coordination of treatment with other discplines is strongly desired but not required, will train the right candidate.
Skills
Candidates must have orthopedic experience; excellent communication skills and the ability to teach patients the rationale behind the therapy.
