Description
The physical therapist plans and administers medically prescribed or referred physical therapy age specific treatment programs for patients (from infant through geriatric) to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease injury, surgery or loss of body part. Must document patient care, educate and information patient and referring physician on outlined plan or care and discharge as guided by patient progress and manage care directives. Maintains a “customer orientation” progress awareness while interacting with patients, families and other professionals. It may also include these indirect patient care activities: physician contact, and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Must be graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program. State of Oregon and Idaho Licensure and BLS required. This position is located at our Ontario, Oregon hospital and will typically work Monday –Friday, 8am-5pm, with weekend rotation every 4-6 weeks.
