| Description Assists Physical Therapists with the administration of interventions utilized in physical therapy and rehabilitation. May progress patients/residents in the treatment plan developed by the physical therapist. May provide direct clinical supervision for Rehabilitation Technicians; Massage Therapists; Athletic Trainers and Fitness Specialists. Qualifications
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION BLS REQUIRED EDUCATION ASSOCIATES DEGREE — PHYSICAL THERAPY PREFERRED EDUCATION BACHELOR’S DEGREE — PHYSICAL THERAPY LICENSURE Current State of PREFERRED EXPERIENCE One year as a Physical Therapist Assistant SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED Computer skills appropriate to the position Customer service, interpersonal skills Organizational skills Written and verbal communication Able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to function as part of a team
