Dream Job: This is a job working with gymnasts & athletes. Could it be yours?

The Job: Outpatient physical therapy orthopedics in a fast-paced setting, focusing on two specific patient populations: performing arts (dance, gymnastics, figure skating, & musician upper extremity injuries), and endurance sports athletes. Responsibilities: patient care, outreach marketing, possible management duties, manual therapy & knowledge of biomechanics along with willingness to learn applied kinesiology. Mentoring necessary for manual techniques, depending on experience.

Why this is a dream job: Manual therapy-based clinic, using Active Release Techniques (ART). Work side-by-side with a USA Gymnastics Health Care and performing arts national speaker who is also a known expert on endurance sports medicine, serving on ART Performance Care staff at National and World Championship Ironman Triathlons and treating many current pro triathletes.

Types of patients and injuries you would work with: Active adults, children in performing arts, professional dancers, outreach to local organizations The injuries are musculoskeletal and orthopedic in nature, including LBP and spondylolisthesis from gymnastics and dance, and lower extremity overuse injuries from endurance sports.

What you would be paid: Salary is $60-80k depending on experience, part-time applicants accepted - Generous continuing education ($10-15k) for certifications in manual therapy
