The Job: Staff Physical Therapist/Staff Physical Therapist Assistant, Life Care Center of Hilo and Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center, in Hilo, Hawaii.

Types of patients and injuries you would work with: Because Life Care Center of Hilo and Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center are both SNF/LTC facilities, the majority of clients are geriatric residents in need of physical therapy for disorders ranging from stroke to chronic illness. Additional treatments include short-term rehabilitation for conditions such as hip fractures, sepsis, pneumonia, and dehydration.
