The goal of this program is to help physical therapists and physical therapist assistants identify the etiology, presentation and interventions associated with chronic kidney disease. After reading this module, you will be able to:

• Describe the etiology and presentation of chronic kidney disease.
• Discuss how the manifestations of chronic kidney disease may affect a patient’s ability to perform physical activities.
• List medical treatments typically associated with chronic kidney disease.
